Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot criticized the state government on Tuesday for allegedly misleading the public regarding the fuel shortage situation. Gehlot claimed that there were reports of fuel and LPG shortages in parts of Jodhpur, accusing the government of not disclosing the true situation during this crisis.

According to Gehlot, visitors from Jodhpur informed him that petrol and diesel were being supplied in limited quantities at many fuel stations, with some pumps reportedly running out of fuel completely. People traveling from Jodhpur to Jaipur were reportedly facing difficulties as petrol pumps were said to be limiting fuel purchases to Rs 1,000 at a time.

Gehlot highlighted that despite the government’s denial of any shortages, petrol pump operators were allegedly instructed to ration fuel supplies, resulting in long queues. He emphasized the need for transparency, urging the government to avoid misleading the public and provide accurate information during such critical times.
