Former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar participated in the Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF) and introduced ‘The Unbecoming,’ a book authored by his son-in-law, lawyer Kartikeya Vajpai at Hotel Clarks Amer. The book launch event was attended by JLF producer Sanjoy K. Roy and senior journalist Sanjay Pugalia. Kartikeya Vajpai described the book as a journey of self-discovery, emphasizing the exploration of inner strength and self-awareness.

The novel’s protagonist, a cricketer seeking cosmic energy, represents the pursuit of inner strength and self-awareness. Kartikeya highlighted the synergy between stability and action, stating that true excellence arises from their combination. He shared personal reflections on the importance of understanding oneself beyond societal pressures from a young age, stressing the significance of inner power realized through meditation and calm senses.

Kartikeya discussed the essence of success as discovering creativity within one’s professional journey and embracing personal truth. He connected this concept to ‘Aham Brahmasmi,’ signifying self-realization. Senior journalist Sanjay Pugalia commended the book for simplifying complex themes, noting its relatable nature. He highlighted the book’s exploration of honesty, self-reflection, and inner dialogue against a cricketing backdrop, symbolizing life’s journey from delusion to solitude.

Former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar’s presence at the JLF event added significance to the book launch, attracting a large and engaged audience.
