Additionally, a Home Guard and a student were fatally electrocuted in different incidents.

Another casualty occurred in Vijayawada in NTR district, where a Home Guard lost his life after an electricity wire fell on him. The adverse weather conditions led to the uprooting of trees, collapse of hoardings, and disruption of vehicular traffic in various parts of the affected districts.
In Machilipatnam of Krishna district, heavy rains caused road inundation and further disrupted the flow of traffic. Lightning struck the Rythu Seva Kendr in East Godavari district, resulting in a fire that was promptly controlled by the fire department personnel.
The electricity supply was severely impacted in several areas across Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam, Bapatla, Planadu, East Godavari, West Godavari, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema, and Kadapa districts. Minister for Energy, Gottipati Ravi Kumar, acknowledged the disruptions and instructed officials to expedite restoration efforts by Friday afternoon.
State Disaster Management Authority warned of scattered rains and lightning in East Godavari, Kakinada, Guntur, Bapatla, and Tirupati districts.
