Four young migrant workers from Assam were discovered dead under suspicious circumstances in Mutsandra village near Bengaluru. The victims, identified as Jayant Sinde, Nirendranath, D. Taide, and Dhananjay, were found in a shed where they had cooked and slept. Initial investigations suggest they may have died from suffocation while sleeping.
The deceased workers, employed at a Coca-Cola warehouse, were residing near their workplace. Authorities were alerted when the workers did not respond in the morning.
Police from Sulibele conducted an initial inspection at the scene and sent the bodies for post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death. The exact circumstances leading to the deaths remain unclear, prompting further investigation.
Local residents are anxious following the incident, raising concerns about safety in migrant labor accommodations in the region.
