Four individuals, including two tourists, lost their lives in various incidents across the Kashmir Valley on Wednesday. Additionally, 10 others sustained injuries in a house collapse in Bandipora district. Two male tourists were pronounced dead upon arrival at hospitals in Srinagar on Wednesday. One of the deceased tourists was identified as 41-year-old Taranjit Singh, while the other was recognized as Rajesh Ramchandar Mahindrakar, a resident of Maharashtra.

In a distinct event, a CRPF jawan from the 44 Battalion passed away due to a suspected heart attack during the night in the HMT area of Srinagar. The deceased, identified as Head Constable Hari Nath, was found unresponsive in his room after complaining of discomfort. Furthermore, a 32-year-old man died from suspected suffocation after sleeping in his car with the heater on while waiting outside the District Hospital in Kulgam, where his wife was admitted.

Moreover, a tragic incident unfolded as 10 individuals were injured when a double-storey residential house collapsed suddenly during a condolence gathering at Chandergir village in the Hajin area of Bandipora district. The collapse occurred due to the excessive load on the structure caused by a large number of people assembled inside the house. Five injured individuals were taken to the health center in Hajin, while the remaining five were transported to the hospital at Safapora for treatment. All injured parties are reportedly in stable condition.
