President Macron’s visit, at the invitation of PM Modi for the AI Impact Summit in India, includes a bilateral summit in Mumbai. This visit marks Macron’s fourth trip to India and his first official engagement in Mumbai. Discussions between the two leaders will encompass a thorough review of progress under the India-France Strategic Partnership, with a focus on enhancing cooperation in emerging sectors.
Later in the day, Prime Minister Modi and President Macron will jointly launch the ‘India-France Year of Innovation 2026’ and address an audience comprising business leaders, start-up founders, researchers, and innovators from both nations.
