Fulham FC has named Alvaro Arbeloa as their new head coach on a three-year contract, securing his position at Craven Cottage until 2029. Arbeloa, aged 43 and formerly of Real Madrid, takes over from Marco Silva, who is set to join Benfica.
“It is a real honor for me to be embarking on this new stage at Fulham FC, the oldest club in London. I am really looking forward to experiencing the atmosphere at Craven Cottage with Fulham fans and beginning pre-season with the players next week. I am sure we are going to enjoy an incredible journey together,” Arbeloa expressed.
Arbeloa’s coaching journey began at Real Madrid, where he led various youth teams before eventually taking charge of the first team. His successes include winning league titles and leading Real Madrid to victory over Manchester City in the Champions League.
