Ahead of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) re-test scheduled for June 21, the Gautam Buddha Nagar administration is intensifying preparations to ensure a smooth and secure examination for students. Enhanced security measures, including CCTV surveillance and increased police presence, have been implemented at the 23 exam centers across the district. Administrative and police teams are conducting inspections to finalize security arrangements and prevent any disruptions for candidates.
Joint Police Commissioner Rajiv Narayan Mishra confirmed that the NEET exams will be held at various centers in different zones of Noida. Stringent security protocols will be in place, with mandatory screening and thorough checking of all candidates before entering the exam venues. Adequate police personnel, including senior officers, will be deployed to monitor the examination process continuously.
To maintain a peaceful and transparent exam environment, the Gautam Buddha Nagar Commissionerate has made comprehensive arrangements. Police Response Vehicle (PRV) teams will be on standby near the exam centers to ensure immediate assistance in case of emergencies. Additionally, officers of different ranks will be present at the centers within their respective zones, conducting patrols and overseeing security measures throughout the exam duration.
Special measures, such as invoking Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) to restrict crowds near exam centers, have been put in place. Help desks have been set up at major Metro stations and bus stands to provide students and parents with necessary information and support related to exam centers and traffic. The authorities aim to conduct the NEET re-test in a peaceful, transparent, and organized manner.
