The Gautam Buddha Nagar Police is ramping up security measures to ensure a peaceful Muharram festival on June 26. Senior police officers, under Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh’s directives, conducted foot patrols in various police station areas to assess security arrangements and provide necessary instructions.
DCP (Noida) Saad Miya Khan, ADCP (Noida) Manisha Singh, and other officials inspected the Muharram procession routes in the Sector-49 police station area to review security measures.

While inspecting the procession route, officers urged police personnel to stay vigilant and monitor sensitive locations closely. They conducted thorough checks on suspicious individuals and vehicles during the patrol.
Authorities emphasized the importance of maintaining security and traffic control during the festival, with a focus on taking strict action against traffic violators to ensure public safety.

A special drive against public alcohol consumption was initiated under Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh’s guidance. Police teams from Phase-1 and Sector-58 police stations, led by DCP Saad Miya Khan and ADCP Manisha Singh, took action against 102 individuals for public drinking and creating a disturbance.
Security measures have been heightened in Central Noida, with ACP-1 Diksha Singh overseeing foot patrols to assess readiness and bolster security measures in the Phase-2 police station area.

Instructions were given to set up barricades for checking vehicles, maintain smooth traffic flow, and enforce traffic regulations strictly.
The police’s primary focus remains on ensuring peace, harmony, and public safety during the festive period, with increased patrolling, vehicle checks, and surveillance in all police station areas. Residents are urged to cooperate with authorities and report any suspicious activities promptly.
