Indian cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir was present at the wedding of Sachin Tendulkar’s son, Arjun Tendulkar, and entrepreneur Saaniya Chandhok. Gambhir, along with his wife Natasha Jain, attended the event in traditional attire just before India’s crucial ICC T20 World Cup 2026 semi-final against England at the Wankhede Stadium.
The wedding ceremony became a gathering of prominent figures from the Indian cricket community, including MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, and Suresh Raina. Gambhir, who played alongside Sachin Tendulkar and was part of India’s victorious 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup team, was seen engaging warmly with the Tendulkar family during the festivities.
Arjun Tendulkar, aged 26, exchanged vows with Saaniya after a private engagement ceremony in August 2025, attended by close friends and family. Following his presence at the wedding, Gambhir is set to join the Indian team for their upcoming match against England.
The victor of the India-England clash will advance to Ahmedabad to face New Zealand in the T20 World Cup 2026 final on Sunday, March 8. India has had a successful campaign in the tournament, winning six out of seven matches, with their only defeat coming against South Africa in the Super 8 stage. England, also performing well in the competition, topped their Super 8 group with three wins and will aim to maintain their momentum against the defending champions.
