Actress Genelia D’Souza recently shared her joy on social media as her ‘baby boys’ Azai and Ivaar starred alongside Bollywood icon Salman Khan in the song Maatrubhumi from the upcoming film Battle of Galwan. The boys, sons of Genelia’s close friends Shabbir Ahluwalia and Kanchi Kaul, made their Bollywood debut in this special appearance.

Genelia, who sees Azai and Ivaar as her own children, expressed her happiness by posting the song video and praising her friends for their kids’ performance. She wrote, “My Darling Azai and Ivarr – Nothing makes me happier than seeing my baby boys and Ofcourse was fully teary-eyed – @kanchikaul @shabirahluwalia you did well guys – #proudbeyondwords.”

In a separate post, Kanchi, the boys’ mother, also shared her excitement about their involvement in the song alongside Salman Khan and Chitrangada Singh. She described the experience as incredible and thanked the team behind the project for the opportunity.

Salman Khan, on Republic Day, shared a heartfelt message for his young fans, urging them to love their country. In a video featuring himself with his niece Ayat and nephew Ahil, he emphasized the importance of patriotism and love for the nation. The video showcased the song “Maatrubhoomi” from his upcoming movie Battle of Galwan, with Azai and Ivaar’s presence adding to the excitement.
