General Anil Chauhan Encourages NCC Cadets to Join Armed Forces

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Anil Chauhan, visited the National Cadet Corps Republic Day Camp in Delhi Cantonment. He urged the cadets to consider a career in the Armed Forces to contribute to building a developed India. General Chauhan emphasized the importance of making the right choices today for a successful future.

Addressing the NCC cadets and officers, the CDS shared his career journey and encouraged them to work towards a Prosperous, Strong, and Secure India by 2047. He commended the cadets’ dedication and patriotism, noting their high standards and energy. General Chauhan highlighted the significance of January, a month celebrating key events that embody India’s independence and national values.

Expressing pride in attending the Republic Day Camp for the fourth time, General Chauhan praised the cadets’ enthusiasm and performance. He appreciated the ‘Guard of Honour’ by the Army, Navy, and Air Wing cadets, as well as the cultural displays showcasing discipline and awareness efforts. The CDS encouraged the cadets to take immediate action towards their aspirations and maintain a positive outlook on life.
