Nine-year-old Vinodini from Palakkad, Kerala, lost her right arm due to a treatment error at the local hospital. Months later, she is still awaiting a prosthetic arm that could change her life.
Vinodini, determined to become a doctor, remains at home, away from school, until she receives her new hand. Her family eagerly anticipates the day she can return to her classroom with her prosthetic arm.
Despite facing setbacks and financial challenges, Vinodini’s spirit remains strong. She has been practicing writing and drawing with her left hand, preparing herself mentally for a future where she can resume her education.
Vinodini’s story has touched many, including the Leader of Opposition V.D. Satheesan, who has pledged to help her acquire the prosthetic arm she needs to pursue her dreams.
