Girls have excelled over boys in the Class XII Board examinations conducted by Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) for the academic year 2025-26. The overall pass rate was 92%, with girls outperforming boys in Science, Arts, and Commerce streams.
The JMI administers its own Senior Secondary (Class XII) exams for its institutions, functioning as an independent education board. In the Science stream, 94.84% of girls and 91.4% of boys passed, while in Commerce, 92.77% of girls and 85.27% of boys succeeded. Similarly, in the Arts stream, 97.64% of girls and 88.77% of boys cleared the exam.
The results were announced by JMI Vice Chancellor Mazhar Asif, Registrar Md. Mahtab Alam Rizvi, and Controller of Examinations Ahteshamul Haque in the presence of university officials and Jamia School principals. Top performers included Saima Rizwee, Md. Sahil Saifi, and Kashifa from various JMI schools.
Students can access their marksheets through a QR code on the official JMI school website by entering their roll number and enrollment number. The online correction window will be open for three days before the final mark sheet is issued. Jamia V-C Mazhar Asif and Registrar Md. Mahtab Alam Rizvi congratulated the high achievers, their families, and schools, praising the girls for their exceptional performance.
