The discussions revolved around India’s advancements in AI and the potential for deeper collaboration between the government and Google in this domain.
Prime Minister Modi highlighted the significance of utilizing India’s skilled youth and technology professionals to reinforce the country’s standing in AI. The meeting between Pichai and Modi at the AI Impact Summit in Delhi focused on India’s AI initiatives and explored avenues for cooperation with talented individuals in the field. The Prime Minister’s Office later shared insights from the meeting on its official YouTube channel, showcasing the dialogue between the two leaders.
The ongoing ‘India AI Impact Summit 2026’ at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi aims to foster global discussions on enhancing cooperation in artificial intelligence. With the participation of over 110 countries and 30 international organizations, the summit serves as a platform for policymakers, industry leaders, academicians, and innovators to engage in AI-related collaborations. Notably, the event is attended by around 20 Heads of State or Government and nearly 45 ministers, reflecting the global interest in advancing AI technologies.
