Press Information Bureau’s Fact Check unit disclosed that thermal power plants currently possess 53.702 million tonnes of coal, adequate for operational needs. The government assured continuous monitoring of coal supplies to ensure uninterrupted power generation. Dismissing concerns about grid instability, the PIB emphasized sufficient power availability and adherence to established protocols in grid operations.
