A government school in Ghora village of Bannu city, Pakistan, was destroyed in an explosion. The incident, reported by local media, involved unidentified assailants planting explosives at the Government Primary School Noor Jan Baka Khel. The school structure suffered complete destruction due to the explosion.
Police sources mentioned that militants were suspected to be inside the school, allegedly preparing an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) when the explosion occurred. However, this claim has not been officially confirmed yet. Authorities received reports of a potential suicide attacker, with Bannu Police Lines being a likely target. As a precaution, the Bannu Police Lines Road has been closed to traffic, and security measures have been heightened across the city.
