The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has announced the Class 12 examination results for 2026. The Science stream achieved a pass percentage of 84.33, while the General stream recorded 92.71 percent. State Education Minister Dr. Pradyuman Vaja declared the results in Gandhinagar, accompanied by Minister of State for Education, Rivaba Jadeja.
More than 5.01 lakh students in Gujarat appeared for the Class 12 board exams across Science, General, and Vocational streams. In the Science stream, 1,18,256 students appeared at 156 centers, with over 93,000 passing. Boys had a pass percentage of 84.04, slightly lower than girls at 84.65.
The Science stream saw a one percentage point improvement from the previous year. Notably, 209 schools achieved a 100 percent pass rate. Kumbhariya in Banaskantha district had the highest pass rate at 98.62 percent, while Dahod had the lowest at 42.98 percent.
