Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel participated in the 12th International Yoga Day event at Mansa in Gandhinagar district. Thousands of people gathered for a mass yoga session focused on the theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing.” Patel found the experience highly energizing and shared his thoughts on social media.
The Chief Minister emphasized the significance of yoga in promoting lifelong health and well-being. He highlighted the theme of “Yoga for Healthy Ageing,” stressing the role of yoga in maintaining physical, mental, and emotional wellness across all age groups. Over 1.25 crore individuals participated in Yoga Day events in Gujarat, according to Patel.
The celebrations included citizens of all ages engaging in yoga sessions at more than 330 locations across the state. Various collective yoga sessions were organized throughout Gujarat, from cities to villages. The state-level event in Mansa brought together a diverse group of participants for a synchronized display of yoga practice.
The International Yoga Day observance in Gujarat coincided with nationwide celebrations led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He participated in a mass yoga session in Kolkata and highlighted the importance of yoga in daily life. The focus of the event was on promoting regular yoga practice and advocating healthy aging through holistic health approaches.
