Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi have lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s move to establish a high-powered task force for examination reforms led by Nandan Nilekani. This initiative aims to enhance transparency and trust in India’s examination system. The task force, headed by Nilekani, will focus on recommending reforms to make the examination process in the country more reliable, transparent, and technology-driven.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel commended the Prime Minister’s decision, emphasizing its importance in securing the future of the youth and ensuring the integrity of the examination system. He highlighted the significance of transparency, trust, and technological advancements in examinations nationwide. Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi also supported the initiative, emphasizing the need for the best minds in nation-building and praising the governance model that values capability and outcomes over political affiliations.

The task force, comprising members such as Nandan Nilekani, S Somnath, Tapan Deka, V. Kamakoti, Anita Karwal, and Amrit Lal Meena, will concentrate on examination reforms to enhance the credibility of public examinations. Prime Minister Modi stressed the government’s commitment to leveraging technology to improve the reliability and transparency of examinations, with future actions based on the task force’s recommendations.
