Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel reassured the public that there is no shortage of gas cylinders and they will be provided on time, despite the global situation. Speaking at a state-level event for the PM-Kisan scheme, he urged against spreading rumors about LPG supply and guaranteed easy access to gas cylinders for those in need.
Patel highlighted the seamless availability of gas cylinders, emphasizing that anyone requiring them will receive prompt service. The Chief Minister’s remarks were made during an event marking the 22nd installment release of the PM-Kisan scheme, where the central government disbursed Rs 2,000 to eligible farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Stressing the government’s commitment to farmers, Patel praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts in supporting agriculture, especially through initiatives like the Narmada canal network for irrigation. He also underscored the importance of water conservation, electricity supply for farming, and the transition to natural farming practices for environmental sustainability.
The Chief Minister encouraged farmers to embrace natural farming methods, linking it to improved health outcomes and environmental benefits. He called for increased green cover through tree planting and emphasized the significance of rainwater harvesting and groundwater recharge for sustainable agriculture practices.
