He highlighted the need for efficient public service delivery without creating future complications. Patel described Revenue Talatis as crucial for revenue administration and village governance, urging them to go beyond record-keeping to address local issues promptly.
Patel encouraged the officers to adopt a people-centric approach, emphasizing the significance of helping individuals smoothly navigate official processes. He advised them to make decisions considering the perspective of those seeking assistance. The Chief Minister also stressed the role of these officers in contributing to the state’s development vision in alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goals for a developed India by 2047.
During the event, Patel launched digital initiatives to enhance revenue administration, including a feedback system called REVA and an e-filing facility for revenue cases. These initiatives aim to improve service delivery and streamline revenue case management across Gujarat. Additionally, an agreement was signed for geo-referencing city survey maps to further strengthen administrative capacity.
