More than 38,600 individuals have been relocated to safety, and over 5,500 stranded residents have been rescued in Gujarat as the state responds to extensive heavy rainfall. The State Emergency Operations Centre in Gandhinagar reported that 38,653 people have been evacuated to secure locations during this monsoon season, with 5,547 individuals successfully rescued from flood-affected areas.
To address emergencies, the state government has deployed 49 teams of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) across Gujarat. Additionally, six Indian Army teams are stationed in Ahmedabad, Navsari, and Valsad, with two teams assigned to each district.
The Indian Air Force is conducting rescue missions in Vadodara, while the Indian Coast Guard is performing aerial surveys over flood-affected regions in Navsari, Valsad, and Tapi districts.

Coast Guard teams are actively engaged in rescue operations in Bilimora and Gandevi, relocating stranded individuals to safer areas. Heavy rainfall persists in parts of north and central Gujarat, with reports indicating significant rainfall in various districts.
Rescue operations are ongoing in multiple districts, with teams conducting operations in villages like Pandor, Dharampuri, and Chaloda to assist those affected by the floods. Efforts include evacuating individuals trapped in rainwater and stranded passengers in different locations.
The Indian Coast Guard has initiated a rescue operation in Meghar village in Gandevi taluka of Navsari district, focusing on moving affected residents to secure locations. Director General of Police (DGP) Gyanendra Singh Malik is set to visit the State Emergency Operations Centre in Gandhinagar to assess the relief and rescue operations in rain-affected districts.
Authorities emphasize that rescue and relief operations are ongoing as emergency agencies closely monitor the changing weather conditions and respond promptly to incidents across the state.
