Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi emphasized that India’s presence at the World Economic Forum is significant, showcasing the country’s strong global impact. Sanghavi commended the Indian Government’s support for states in attracting investments, noting the remarkable cooperation from the Centre.
Sanghavi highlighted India’s unprecedented strength at Davos, with a diverse delegation and global investors gathered together. He emphasized the expanding international influence of India and the empowerment of states to demonstrate their potential on a global platform.
The Deputy Chief Minister clarified that Gujarat’s focus at Davos goes beyond signing memoranda of understanding. He stressed the importance of identifying opportunities for long-term benefits, particularly for the youth of Gujarat, including initiatives like attracting Global Capability Centres and developing smart manufacturing hubs.
Expressing appreciation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sanghavi credited him with uplifting the confidence and aspirations of millions of Indians. He acknowledged the nation’s collective view of Modi as Prime Minister since 2014, recognizing his efforts in national development.
