In a crucial Women’s Premier League 2026 Eliminator match, Gujarat Giants managed to score 168/7 against Delhi Capitals. The bowlers of Delhi Capitals put up a strong performance, restricting the hosts throughout the innings.

The innings saw a slow yet resilient knock from Beth Mooney, who remained unbeaten with 62 runs off 51 balls. Georgia Wareham and Kashvee Gautam also contributed with the bat, helping Gujarat Giants reach a competitive total.

Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, Mooney held one end firmly and formed a crucial partnership with Wareham. The duo added 61 runs together before Delhi’s Chinelle Henry broke the stand by taking two wickets in the 17th over.

Chenille Henry stood out among the bowlers, finishing with figures of 3/35 in her spell for Delhi Capitals. The match showcased a competitive battle between the two teams, with Gujarat Giants setting a challenging target for Delhi Capitals to chase.
