As India gears up for the World Economic Forum (WEF), a delegation from the Gujarat government, led by Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, will participate in the five-day Summit in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland. The WEF Annual Meeting, scheduled from January 19 to 23, will bring together global leaders, diplomats, industry experts, and social entrepreneurs to discuss pressing issues like climate change. Gujarat’s involvement in the WEF Summit highlights its commitment to international collaboration and economic progress.

Deputy Chief Minister Sanghavi is expected to engage in over 50 high-level meetings with global leaders and investors at the WEF 2026. These discussions will focus on various sectors such as Advanced Manufacturing, Textiles, Pharmaceuticals, Renewable Energy, and Aerospace, among others. The aim is to enhance the state’s industrial ecosystem, foster technology partnerships, attract investments, and establish international linkages for long-term growth.

Under the theme ‘Gujarat – Ready for the World, where vision meets action,’ the state’s participation at WEF 2026 underscores its aspiration to become a significant player in global value chains. The government’s commitment to industrial development, innovation-driven growth, and attracting transformative investments is evident through its active involvement in shaping the global growth narrative at the event.

Gujarat’s presence at WEF 2026 signifies not just participation but a leadership role in influencing the global economic landscape.
