Mumbai’s Hardik Tamore’s impressive 85 runs were not enough as Route Mobile suffered an eight-run defeat against DTDC in the DY Patil T20 Cup at Navi Mumbai. Despite Tamore’s strong performance, Route Mobile fell short, finishing at 174 in 19.3 overs. Yash Thakur and Shams Mulani bowled effectively for Route Mobile, but DTDC managed to post 182 for nine in their 20 overs.
At the DY Patil Stadium, Indian Navy’s Shubham Rohilla and Suraj Vashist’s partnership helped them reach 200 for five in 20 overs. In response, Canara Bank, led by Atharva Taide’s 67 off 38 balls, fell short by nine runs. Despite Taide’s efforts, Canara Bank could only manage 191 for nine in 20 overs.
In other matches, DTDC defeated Route Mobile by eight runs, and upcoming fixtures include Bank of Baroda versus Income Tax and Reliance versus BPCL at DY Patil Stadium, as well as Jain Irrigation versus DTDC and Tata Sports versus Mumbai Customs at DY Patil University.
