All-format skipper Harmanpreet Kaur, star batter Smriti Mandhana, and all-rounder Deepti Sharma have been retained in Grade A of the women’s central contracts. Jemimah Rodrigues has been promoted from Grade B to Grade A. In the topmost category, players earn Rs 50 lakh annually, while those in lower categories receive Rs 30 lakh and Rs 10 lakh, respectively.
The BCCI has granted central contracts to 21 players in the women’s category, as reported by Dainik Jagaran. Eight new players, including Pratika Rawal, Kranti Goud, and Harleen Deol, have been added to the central contract list. Existing players like Yastika Bhatia, Radha Yadav, and Sneh Rana have retained their central contracts.
Renuka Thakur, Shafali Verma, Richa Ghosh, and Sneh Rana have been placed in Grade B, while Grade C includes players like Radha Yadav, Amanjot Kaur, and Pratika Rawal. The 2024/25 contracts list announced in March 2025 includes players like Renuka Singh and Jemimah Rodrigues in Grade B, and Yastika Bhatia and Radha Yadav in Grade C. The Women in Blue are preparing for a multi-format series against Australia starting from February 15 after winning their maiden ODI World Cup.
