Preparations are underway for a youth conference at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology in Murthal on March 21, as per the Haryana Assembly’s initiative. The summit aims to engage young individuals with the democratic system, public representation, and nation-building processes.
To ensure the event’s success, officials from the Assembly Secretariat recently met with the Sonipat district administration and university officials. The conference, overseen by Speaker Harvinder Kalyan, will see the participation of students from various universities and nearly 20 colleges in Sonipat district.
Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh is set to be the chief guest at the conference, where he will share his insights with the youth. Additionally, Rajya Sabha Secretary General P.C. Modi will also be in attendance. The event is aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a “Developed India 2047” and the aspiration of “One Nation, One Legislature.”
Director General of the Department of Higher Education, Srinivasan Narayanan, led a meeting to discuss various aspects of the conference’s preparations. The focus was on creating a well-organized, secure, and motivating environment for the attending youth, with detailed reviews of arrangements, including student registrations, guest reception, auditorium technical setup, and parking logistics.
Advisor to the Haryana Assembly Speaker, Ramnarayan Yadav, emphasized timely and coordinated arrangements to ensure a seamless experience for students and guests. The meeting was attended by key figures such as the Vice-Chancellor of Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Shriprakash, Sub-Divisional Officer (SDM) Subhash Chand, and Joint Director (Higher Education Department) Ajit Singh.
