Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini highlighted the government’s efforts to upgrade healthcare infrastructure, ensuring that government hospitals match private facilities in services and facilities. Significant enhancements in medical infrastructure and patient care services are underway to offer quality healthcare to all citizens. The government is dedicated to improving civic healthcare infrastructure extensively to provide top-notch services across government hospitals.
The Chief Minister stressed the importance of enhancing Haryana’s public healthcare system to make it more efficient, accessible, and patient-centric. Continuous initiatives are being taken to strengthen healthcare facilities and enhance service delivery throughout the state. He made these remarks during a review meeting on the state’s healthcare infrastructure and modernization of government hospitals.
Reviewing the ongoing rejuvenation and renovation works in government hospitals across the state, the Chief Minister emphasized the need to upgrade civil hospitals in all districts to be more citizen-friendly than private hospitals. He also oversaw the renovation projects in various district hospitals and provided necessary directives to officials for their completion.
The government’s efforts have resulted in a significant increase in the number of Ayushman Bharat beneficiaries seeking treatment in government hospitals. Notably, in 2025-26, 32% of beneficiaries received treatment in government hospitals, leading to the government paying claims of Rs 126 crore. The Chief Minister urged officials to promote government hospital services to more Ayushman Bharat beneficiaries for their healthcare needs.
