Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has announced the establishment of ‘Prakriti Shri Anna Prerak Kisan Committees’ in every district of the state to promote natural farming. These committees will work closely with farmers, act as natural farming ambassadors, and facilitate government support for transitioning to natural farming practices. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of restoring the bond between farmers, nature, and society through natural farming during the ‘Prakritik kheti Samvad’ event in Panchkula.
Chief Minister Saini engaged with farmers at the event, promising swift implementation of their suggestions. He instructed Agriculture Department officials to expedite subsidies for farmers adopting natural farming methods. Highlighting natural farming as a way to serve the environment, reduce cultivation costs, and ensure a sustainable future, he urged farmers to actively promote and adopt these practices.
The Chief Minister encouraged farmers to lead by example and inspire others to embrace natural farming. He pledged ongoing government support, including regular dialogues and monthly programs to educate and engage farmers in natural farming initiatives. Additionally, he announced plans to invite Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat to share his expertise with farmers and emphasized the importance of nurturing the age-old connection between farmers and nature.
