Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini criticized the Punjab AAP government, labeling it a “gang of looters” and alleging widespread corruption. He pointed to the BJP’s victory in the Abohar Municipal Corporation elections as a sign of an upcoming political shift in Punjab, expressing confidence in the BJP forming the next state government. Saini pledged a crackdown on the drug trade in Punjab once the BJP assumed power, vowing not to spare anyone involved.
Stressing Punjab’s struggle with drug-related issues, CM Saini addressed the Other Backward Class (OBC) Maha Sammelan in Abohar town. He praised the state’s farmers, traders, youth, and mothers for their contributions to nation-building. However, he criticized the AAP government’s ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’ campaign, calling it a failure and accusing the government of prioritizing slogans over tangible results.
Saini further lambasted the Punjab government, dismissing its promise of providing Rs 1,000 monthly to women as a political ploy with no progress on implementation. He highlighted the inadequate funds allocated to Abohar’s Municipal Corporation, deeming it an insult to the city’s residents. The Chief Minister emphasized the BJP’s commitment to governance and job creation, contrasting it with the AAP’s alleged mismanagement and corruption.
