Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini emphasized the need to restore Punjab’s former glory, referring to it as a land of reverence and courage. He commended the resilience of Punjab’s people post-Partition, urging a collective effort to uplift the state’s political landscape and societal values. Addressing a gathering in Gurdaspur, Saini highlighted the significance of the upcoming Punjab Assembly election in reshaping the state’s future.
Saini expressed pride in being present on Punjab’s sacred soil and urged unity towards propelling the state towards progress. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for empowering the Saini community and outlined the achievements of his government in Haryana. The Chief Minister detailed various welfare schemes, including free dialysis services, pensions for senior citizens, and support for farmers through MSP and other initiatives.
Underlining the importance of inclusive development, Saini mentioned housing projects for the underprivileged and land allotments to landless families. He stressed the need for a shift in political dynamics to drive Punjab’s growth and prosperity. Saini called for OBC community unity in shaping the state’s political landscape positively and addressing pressing issues like unemployment, drug abuse, and crime.
