Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini criticized the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party, stating they work together and share similar ideologies. He raised concerns about the recent Punjab municipal elections, where he alleged a compromise in law and order, questioning the democratic process. CM Saini highlighted the state government’s apprehension of facing defeat by using ballot papers for the elections.
The Chief Minister, speaking in Kapurthala city, expressed disappointment in the government’s failure to fulfill promises made to the public. He emphasized that development cannot rely solely on announcements and false assurances, urging for concrete actions. CM Saini also called out the Aam Aadmi Party government to fulfill its election promises and address the deteriorating law and order situation in Punjab.
Saini pointed out the rise in gangster and criminal activities in Punjab, leading to a sense of insecurity among citizens. He criticized the government’s anti-drug campaign for not yielding expected results and emphasized the need for more effective measures. The Chief Minister highlighted Haryana’s efforts in providing public welfare benefits through various schemes, including healthcare initiatives for families in the state.
The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of good governance and accountability in politics, stating that people demand development and will no longer settle for empty promises. He mentioned the increasing trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and development-focused policies among the people of Punjab. Saini expressed optimism about the BJP’s prospects in the state and the public’s support for a change in governance.
Saini also visited Dera Radha Soami Satsang Beas and met with Dera chief Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon, seeking blessings and discussing social and spiritual matters.
