Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini criticized the Opposition for staging a protest at the main entrance of the Vidhan Sabha. While acknowledging the right to dissent, he emphasized the need for protests to be conducted without disrupting the legislature’s decorum. Saini suggested that designated protest areas should be utilized for peaceful demonstrations instead.
The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of upholding the dignity of the House, which he stated is the Speaker’s responsibility. He assured support for the Speaker’s decisions regarding maintaining order within the Assembly. Saini commended the Speaker for inclusivity and fairness in accommodating all members, irrespective of their party affiliations.
Expressing gratitude towards the Speaker, Saini noted the Speaker’s impartiality in allowing adequate time for the Opposition to present their views. He mentioned that despite occasional perceptions of bias, the Opposition has been treated fairly and given opportunities to voice their opinions within the legislative framework.
