Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini dismissed criticism from the Congress and INLD regarding recruitment by the Haryana Public Service Commission as a political move. He emphasized that both the Haryana Staff Selection Commission and HPSC follow transparent procedures, offering jobs based on merit. Saini highlighted that the current government prioritizes merit-based recruitment, unlike previous administrations, restoring faith in the system among youth and parents.
The Chief Minister pointed out that the recruitment process in Haryana is evidence of its transparency, enabling deserving candidates to secure jobs solely on merit. He defended the practice of allowing candidates from other states to work in Haryana based on capability and merit, emphasizing the constitutional nature of the system. Saini also addressed the global energy crisis, urging citizens to conserve energy and use public transport whenever possible to tackle the issue collectively.
In response to inflation concerns raised by the Congress, Saini criticized the party for politicizing the issue, stating that inflation was uncontrolled during their regime. He commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policies for successfully managing the COVID crisis and keeping inflation in check over the past eleven and a half years. Saini emphasized the need for collective cooperation to address crises rather than engaging in political blame games.
