Saini highlighted the political landscape in Punjab, stating that after the Congress allegedly betrayed the people, they turned to AAP, which he termed a “mega-deception.” He expressed concerns over the deteriorating law and order situation in Punjab and the challenges faced by farmers.
The Chief Minister criticized AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal for misleading farmers regarding flood compensation amounts. He emphasized that the MLA’s allegations were inaccurate and intended to conceal deficiencies. Saini accused AAP of engaging in pressure politics in Punjab and urged the party to fulfill its commitments to the public.
In response to queries about Punjab, CM Saini expressed his affinity for the state, referring to it as a home. He praised Punjab as the land of the Gurus and noted the historical significance of the region. Saini’s statements followed accusations by Punjab AAP legislator Narinder Kaur Bharaj, who claimed the BJP attempted to lure her with promises under ‘Operation Lotus’.
