Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini recently opened a seminar and exhibition at Kurukshetra University, jointly organized with the Information, Public Relations, and Languages Department. Saini highlighted the importance of women’s development in achieving the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’.

He emphasized that empowering women is crucial for national progress, drawing parallels to the teachings of Lord Krishna in the Mahabharata at Kurukshetra. Saini stressed the significance of speaking out against injustice, echoing the timeless message of the epic.

Saini also visited a women empowerment exhibition and inaugurated the seminar, underlining women as the bedrock of nation-building. He outlined the pillars of ‘Viksit Bharat’ as women, farmers, youth, and the poor, underscoring their pivotal roles in India’s growth.

The Chief Minister commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts towards women’s empowerment, citing improved access to education and economic opportunities for women. He highlighted the transformative impact of initiatives like self-help groups in enhancing women’s financial independence and social status.
