Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini oversaw arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming program in Jind, where the PM will inaugurate India’s first hydrogen train, a significant step towards clean and sustainable transportation. The Chief Minister ensured that all aspects of PM Modi’s visit would be environmentally friendly, visiting the venue at Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University to inspect preparations for the event.
At the Jind railway station, CM Saini personally checked the readiness for the hydrogen train launch, giving directives to officials regarding the necessary arrangements. He examined entry points for the public and VIPs, facilities like the executive lounge and cafeteria, and the overall setup of the railway track. Additionally, preparations for the ‘Viksit Bharat-Viksit Haryana’ rally at the Haryana Urban Development Authority ground were also reviewed by the Chief Minister, focusing on seating, parking, and public facilities.
Tourism Minister Arvind Sharma led a cleanliness campaign at the Gohana railway junction as part of the ‘Swachhata Se Swagat’ initiative, emphasizing the significance of the upcoming hydrogen-powered train’s arrival. The event highlighted the importance of cleanliness and eco-friendliness in conjunction with the historic moment. A rally in Jind will commemorate the occasion, drawing participants from across the region to celebrate the milestone.
Health Minister Arti Singh Rao hailed July 17 as a pivotal day for Haryana’s progress, with PM Modi set to inaugurate key development projects aimed at enhancing healthcare services and infrastructure. These projects include the launch of the hydrogen train on the Jind-Sonipat railway section and the opening of Bhiwani Medical College and Koriawas Medical College in Mahendragarh. These initiatives are expected to improve healthcare accessibility in south Haryana, offering quality medical services closer to residents’ homes and benefiting local medical students.
