Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini highlighted the importance of skill development, job creation, entrepreneurship, and human resource enhancement at a recent NITI Aayog meeting. He put forth requests for Haryana’s development, urging the Central government to prioritize the state in the first 50 industrial parks under a key scheme.
Saini also pushed for a special incentive package to transform Haryana into a hub for semiconductor, data center, and electronics manufacturing. He sought the establishment of a national-level AI Center of Excellence and a Central package for AI and Global Capability Center hubs in the state. Additionally, he emphasized the need for more Central aid for various industrial projects and renewable energy initiatives in Haryana.
The Chief Minister expressed his vision for Haryana to contribute over $1 trillion to the Indian economy by 2047, aligning with the national goal of Viksit Bharat 2047. He highlighted the state’s commitment to human capital development, citing initiatives like the National Education Policy 2020 implementation and schemes promoting quality education and higher education opportunities for students, especially girls.
