Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini honored late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, calling him a visionary statesman. He announced plans to name public places in each of the state’s 87 Urban Local Bodies after Vajpayee. Saini highlighted Vajpayee’s integrity, democratic values, and people-centric governance as inspirations for the initiative.
Saini praised Vajpayee’s steadfastness in his beliefs and values, emphasizing his enduring ideals despite changing governments. He described Vajpayee’s life as a continuous source of inspiration, teaching the nation the significance of values, integrity, and principled leadership.
In commemoration of Vajpayee’s birth centenary, the state government will name public places after him in all 87 Urban Local Bodies. Statues of Vajpayee will also be installed at these locations to uphold his principles of democracy, national unity, and transparent governance. Additionally, institutions will be established in his name to educate the youth about his life and contributions.
To further Vajpayee’s legacy, the government will complete the process of renaming and development within six months. These initiatives reflect the government’s commitment to upholding the principles of transparency, inclusiveness, and public welfare advocated by the late leader.
