Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced the state’s plan to support ‘gaushalas’ in becoming self-reliant by providing 820 e-rickshaws for livestock care. ‘Gaushalas’ with up to 1,000 cattle will receive one e-rickshaw, while those with more than 1,000 cattle will get two e-rickshaws. The procurement of these e-rickshaws has been approved at a cost of Rs 10.25 crore.

The state of Haryana has 770 ‘gaushalas’, with varying capacities for cattle accommodation. The Chief Minister also sanctioned projects for sewer line laying in Kaithal, upgrading water treatment facilities at Khedar, and installing Ranney wells in Faridabad. Additionally, a new waterworks project at Basai village in Gurugram was approved, aiming to enhance water supply.

During a meeting, it was highlighted that development projects worth Rs 380.40 crore were tendered at a lower cost, resulting in savings. The Chief Minister emphasized the timely completion of all projects without any delays or negligence, urging officials to ensure adherence to set timelines.
