Rapper Badshah, known for hits like ‘Jugnu’ and ‘Saturday Saturday’, has received a notice from the Haryana State Women’s Commission regarding his latest song, ‘Titiri’. The commission has summoned him to appear on March 13 to provide a statement. The controversial song ‘Titiri’ has sparked a debate due to its lyrics.
The notice was issued based on a complaint by Savita Arya and Shiv Kumar, objecting to a specific line in the song. Allegations include the use of inappropriate language and the portrayal of minor girls in school attire engaging in disruptive behavior. The song has also faced criticism from a Khap of Haryana.
Badshah has been involved in various legal issues in the past, including investigations by authorities. In 2020, he was questioned by the Mumbai Police Crime Branch in connection with a social-media engagement probe. Reports suggested his involvement in purchasing artificial views for his song ‘Paagal’. In 2023, he cooperated with the Maharashtra Cyber Police regarding the illegal streaming of IPL matches on the FairPlay app.
In 2025, Badshah faced allegations of hurting religious sentiments in his song ‘Velvet Flow’. Apart from these major incidents, he has also encountered minor legal troubles, such as a traffic violation fine in Gurugram.
