Haryana Thunders continued their winning streak in the Pro Wrestling League 2026 by defeating Delhi Dangal Warriors 6–3 at the Noida Indoor Stadium. With a strong performance, Haryana showcased a blend of technical skill and strategic prowess, maintaining control throughout the match.
The competition kicked off with a closely contested women’s 76kg bout, where Kajal secured a narrow 6–5 victory over Anastasia, giving Haryana an early lead. Following this, Ankush dominated the men’s 57kg category with a convincing 13–3 win over Shubham, further extending Haryana’s advantage.
A standout moment occurred in the women’s 53kg bout when Yui Susaki displayed exceptional speed and precision, overpowering Saarika 16–0 in just 57 seconds. This remarkable performance earned Susaki the Player of the Match title and applause from the audience.
Haryana continued their dominance with Anirudh Gulia’s commanding 13–0 victory over Ronak Dahiya in the men’s 125kg category, showcasing complete control. Neha Sangwan added to Haryana’s lead by overpowering Karla Godinez 18–2 in the women’s 57kg category.
Despite Delhi Dangal Warriors’ efforts, including Sujeet Kalkal’s close 2–1 win over Tumur Tulga in the men’s 65kg bout, Haryana maintained their lead. Turan Bayramov’s impressive 8–0 victory over Parvinder Singh in the men’s 74kg category kept the competition alive.
The match was sealed decisively by Iryna Koliadenko of Haryana, who secured a comprehensive 13–0 win over Anjali in the women’s 62kg bout. The final men’s 86kg contest was awarded to Delhi Dangal Warriors due to Ashirov Ashraf’s inability to compete.
With two wins in two matches, Haryana Thunders are positioned near the top of the standings in the PWL 2026. Their next challenge awaits against Maharashtra Kesari on January 23.
