Sizzling performances by Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar propelled Royal Challengers Bengaluru to a convincing nine-wicket win against Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. RCB restricted DC to a mere 75 runs, with Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar wreaking havoc early on, reducing DC to 8/6 in the first four overs.

In a one-sided affair, RCB chased down the target comfortably, with Devdutt Padikkal scoring 34 and Virat Kohli remaining unbeaten on 23. The emphatic victory not only boosted RCB’s momentum in the tournament but also dealt a significant blow to DC’s net run rate and morale.

RCB’s pursuit of the modest 76-run target was led by Impact Player Jacob Bethell’s aggressive start, followed by impressive contributions from Padikkal and Kohli. Padikkal’s explosive batting, including hitting boundaries and sixes, propelled RCB to victory in just 6.3 overs, showcasing the defending champions’ dominance in the game.

With a comprehensive win, RCB’s strong performance highlighted their form in the IPL 2026, while DC faced the challenge of regrouping swiftly after a bruising defeat.
