Veteran actress and politician Hema Malini has lauded Neena Gupta’s family drama “Aachari Baa,” describing it as a must-watch. After witnessing the drama recently, Hema Malini extended her best wishes to the cast and crew. She commended the heartwarming story of a woman’s resilience portrayed in the film, emphasizing its simple yet impactful narrative.

The movie “Aachari Baa,” directed by Hardik Gajjar, is a remake of the 2023 Tamil film “Appatha.” The project is produced by Jio Studios in collaboration with Hardik Gajjar Films and Backbencher Pictures. Neena Gupta stars as the lead Jaishnavi, alongside actors like Kabir Bedi, Vatsal Sheth, Vandana Pathak, Manasi Rachh, Apoorva Arora, and Shah Bhavya.

Neena Gupta, discussing her role in the film, highlighted the character of Baa as a representation of numerous mothers and grandmothers who dedicate their lives to their families. She emphasized the strength and vulnerability of the character, underscoring the importance of expressing love and care to family members without delay. The actress expressed gratitude for the film’s message, stressing the significance of cherishing loved ones.

The movie “Aachari Baa,” presented by Jio Studios, Hardik Gajjar Films, and Backbencher Pictures, has garnered production support from Jyoti Deshpande, Poonam Shroff, and Parth Gajjar. The film premiered on JioHotstar on March 14 last year.
