The Himachal Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has set up a state-level chargesheet committee and a mass agitation committee to expose what it claims are the state government’s anti-people policies, unfulfilled promises, corruption, and administrative failures. BJP state President Rajeev Bindal criticized the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu government for allegedly causing economic and administrative distress in the state during its three-and-a-half years in power.
Bindal stated that the Congress government would face opposition from all sides and be politically isolated. The BJP plans to address the government’s shortcomings at the grassroots level by launching a strong public movement on issues affecting the people of Himachal Pradesh. The committee, which includes prominent party members, aims to compile a report outlining the government’s alleged failures and present it to the public.
In addition to the chargesheet committee, a mass agitation committee has been formed to devise strategies for public awareness campaigns, protests, demonstrations, and outreach programs across the state. Bindal emphasized the BJP’s commitment to protecting the people’s interests, promoting state development, and ensuring good governance. He stressed that the government would be answerable to the public for any broken promises, decisions against the people, or administrative lapses.
This initiative is described as more than just a political move; it is a comprehensive public campaign designed to safeguard the state’s interests and rebuild public trust.
