Music composer Himesh Reshammiya has expressed that his latest song ‘Chand Dekh Lena’ from the film ‘Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace’, starring Salman Khan, portrays the longing between separated lovers. The music video, featuring Salman Khan and Chitrangada Singh, delves into themes of love and separation, showcasing the emotional journey of a wife waiting for her husband’s return after his service at the border, symbolizing the strength of families supporting national protectors.
Reshammiya shared that the song aimed to convey the emotional distance between lovers, with poignant lyrics by Sameer Anjaan evoking deep emotions while maintaining a catchy tune. He highlighted the song’s unique essence that resonates with listeners globally, emphasizing the emotional realities faced by relationships affected by a soldier’s responsibilities.
The film ‘Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace’ is produced by Salma Khan under Salman Khan Films, with director Apoorva Lakhia leading the project. Salman Khan recently shared a behind-the-scenes image from the film set, depicting a scene related to the Galwan stand-off, where he is seen in military attire reflecting the real-life events of the conflict between India and China in 2020.
The actor’s attire in the film, featuring the New Battle Dress Uniform (NBDU) of the INCAM, was unveiled during the 74th Army Day Parade in New Delhi.
