Actress Hina Khan has continued her criticism of actress Shilpa Shinde, urging PM Modi and the law minister to release criminals who have confessed their crimes. Khan highlighted that admitting a crime does not absolve one of guilt or grant immunity. Shilpa Shinde previously confessed to filing a fake sexual harassment case in 2017.
Hina Khan took to Instagram to call out Shilpa’s behavior, particularly addressing women supporting Shinde’s actions. She emphasized the need to reject such behavior, stating that using gender to manipulate situations is harmful. Khan also clarified that her stance against Shilpa is not rooted in rivalry post their participation in ‘Bigg Boss 11’.
Addressing trolls, Khan emphasized the importance of speaking out against wrongdoing for the greater good of society. She stressed the significance of equality in feminism and the need to hold individuals accountable. Khan expressed concern that Shilpa’s actions undermine movements like ‘Me Too’ and highlighted the impact on genuine victims of harassment.
