Hindu saints have expressed solidarity with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath following his comments labeling the Congress and Samajwadi Party as supporters of Jinnah. Adityanath accused these parties of sowing religious discord and lacking faith in Sanatan Dharma, emphasizing the importance of development over divisive ideologies.
Mahant Sita Ram Das from Ayodhya’s Saket Bhawan Temple endorsed Adityanath’s stance, criticizing the opposition as ‘Namazwadi Party’ and accusing them of dividing the nation by aligning with Jinnah. He urged Hindu followers to oppose such parties to safeguard the country from turmoil and disintegration.
Mahamandaleshwar Vishnu Das Maharaj echoed similar sentiments, linking the Congress and Samajwadi Party to Jinnah and condemning their disrespectful attitude towards Hindu beliefs and traditions. He highlighted the need for unity among Hindus to counter divisive forces within the political landscape.
Tapasvi Chhawani Peethadhishwar Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya criticized the Samajwadi Party for deviating from true socialism and engaging in appeasement politics, which he referred to as ‘Namaz-wad’. He accused the party of prioritizing divisive tactics and supporting anti-social elements, undermining the principles of inclusive governance.
Karauli Shankar Mahadev, Mahamandaleshwar of the Shri Panchayati Akhada Naya Udasin Nirvan, defended CM Yogi Adityanath’s statements, emphasizing the necessity of stringent measures to protect the interests of Hindus in the country. He praised Adityanath’s leadership and urged for stronger actions to maintain social harmony and security.
